A pretty dang good day.
First off, we went to the Mecca of all Mecca’s. The TARDIS.
Luckily Mikelle appreciates Doctor Who like I do and was just as excited
as I was to investigate the last TARDIS in London with me. It was beautiful. We basically squealed like the obnoxious
American tourists we are when we walked out of the tube station and saw the stunning
blue box just waiting for us. It’s
actually used now as a surveillance camera (CCTV is alllllwwwwwaaaayyyyys
watching you….) and is nestled beside a fantastic little outdoor magazine stand
which attracts only the smelliest kinds of people. Mikelle and I took about a hundred photos and
attracted much attention from confused onlookers who decided to mimic us and take
pictures of the blue box too, because if these two girls were making such a big
deal out of it it must be a pretty important box. And they are right. I even got egged on by some passers-by to
kiss the TARDIS and to hug it. I really
do need to consider hiring a creative director for my pictures, I feel the need
for more variety in my poses. I should have hired on one of these on-lookers as my intern to see how much they improve my image.

| Basically the best moment of my life. |

| Soooooo cool! |

| TARDIS hugs :) |
 |
| "it's bigger on the inside!" |
 |
| Maybe if we knock the Doctor will let us in? Nope. |
Later that night a huge group of us went to the single’s
ward dance. I’m sure those Brits had
quite the shock when 30-odd wild, loud American girls burst into the cultural
hall and started taking over the dance floor.
Sometimes I feel ashamed of how loud and un-British we act out in
public, but other times it reminds me of home and how much I love
Americans. Even though Londoners might
consider us to be a rude, loud, outgoing people I love how happy, open, and
excitable we are. It makes life so much
more enjoyable. And as the night went on
at the dance more and more people showed up (so we didn’t outnumber the
attendees of the dance, thanks goodness) and the place was packed. I’m not sure they knew what to do with us,
but we all had a great time overall.
